this weekend i went to winston-salem, nc to sign my contract and go through my first round of orientation. of course, i managed to take zero pictures so here is a recap of the clothes:
day 18- striped shirt, gap jeans, ballet flats
i landed in greensboro and rabbi josh picked me up from the airport. i got to see a little bit of downtown w-s and go to a really funky coffee shop. that night i went to services and was introduced to the congregation. everyone was so nice!
day 19- white shirt, black pants, black flats
i went to a bat mitzvah in the morning and then to the most amazing kiddish luncheon. i also got a chance to look at my house for next year and talk to rabbi mark about what house sitting would be like. that night i went to a beautiful bat mitzvah party and ate way too much food.
day 20- purple shirt, gap jeans, ballet flats
sunday school! i got the chance to meet the kids and the education committee. i was also able to lead a few activities and meet with josh about our calendar next year.
it was a great visit and i cannot wait to get started.
as for day 21...
